The following sequence of pictures reveals what you would see as you walked towards the hologram.  The pictures were taken in the apartment of the artist under subdued room illumination.       [Click to enlarge]

In Picture 1, the hologram is located at the far end of the room and can barely be seen.  This picture was taken about fifteen (15) feet away from the hologram

Img0002.gif (148035 bytes) Picture 2.   The hologram, exhibiting a red glow,  is positioned in front of a black velvet background. The black pointed structure to the left houses the 10 milli-Watt laser that provides the illumination required to project the hologram's image. This picture was taken about six (6) feet away from the hologram.

 

Img0003.gif (128688 bytes) Picture 3 shows the first glimpse of the hologram's image although it is difficult to discern what it is.  This picture was taken from three (3) feet away.

Picture 5 is taken at the normal viewing distance, where your face is inches from the hologram
